St Andrews Community Trust: What we do
The Trust will allocate funds to clubs, charitable organisations and good causes in and around St Andrews.
We donate towards projects that fall within our Operating Area, which is the Community Council areas of:
- The Royal Burgh of St Andrews
- Leuchars
- Strathkinness
- Cameron
- Boarhills and Dunino
- Guardbridge (from March 2021)
Our goal is to support local community projects that meet one or more of our objectives, including focus on the community, education, environment, heritage, health and supporting those in need.
Since making its first award in 2011, the Community Trust has provided financial support to a huge spectrum of local projects and voluntary organisations, including youth groups, schools, sports clubs, support groups, environmental projects and the theatre and arts.
We consider applications three times a year at our board meetings in February, June and October.
Over the years, awards have ranged from £150 to £15,000, with the vast majority of awards between £1,000 and £5,000.
